In light of COVID-19, West Side Campaign Against Hunger has been categorized as an “Essential Service” and must serve as a frontline responder in this pandemic. WSCAH serves 22,000 New Yorkers and during this time of crisis, with the closure of many businesses, we know the amount of New Yorkers who need access to healthy food and supportive services for their families will increase exponentially over the coming weeks. In order to continue to fulfill our mission, WSCAH will be spending an extra $15,000 more per week on increased amounts of shelf stable foods, transportation, and new operational supplies, such as new distribution tools, safety equipment, and technology.
All donations are tax deductible. We greatly appreciate the support from our community.
