Each year, over 1,000 members of the WSCAH community join us to pack healthy groceries for WSCAH customers, advocate to our elected officials, and enjoy free food & refreshments, music, crafts, and live readings by the winners of the Writing Against Hunger poetry and essay contest. Check out our quick video that shows what the day looks and feels like!

Food and Refreshments at ROCKS THE BLOCK

A big thanks to our food sponsors who not only provide tasty sandwiches (Tiki Chick w/ a vegan friendly option) and fresh coffee beverages (Buunni), but also donate shelf-stable food and fresh produce to support our neighbors facing hunger.

All attendees are welcome to help pack bags of healthy groceries, and WSCAH will distribute grocery packages at the end of the event. In keeping with our core mission principles to uphold dignity in community, all are welcome to leave with a bag of groceries.
